Spanish Court Wedding Jamaica | Amanda and Reece
I must say that this Spanish Court Wedding was absolutely breathtaking!
Amanda and Reece truly had a beautiful Spanish Court Wedding! They both got ready at their individual homes in Kingston, before heading to the ceremony at the Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, then to Hope Botanical Gardens for the formals and then to the Spanish Court Hotel for the reception.
The day started off beautifully with the gorgeous bride and her bridesmaids. They were cool, calm and relaxed for the most part — until the rain started just minutes before they were ready to leave for the ceremony. Despite the slight panic that set in, they were quickly reassured that they would still have a fantastic day! Amanda was a radiant bride and she was well complimented by her stunning bridesmaids. She couldn’t wait to join her handsome husband to be at the altar.
At the church everyone waited in quiet anticipation as Amanda arrived. Reece was nervous and anxious as his palms bean to sweat. This was the biggest moment in their lives! It was all gasps, longing stares, and excited smiles as Amanda made her grand entrance and slowly walked down the aisle with her father. The moment had finally arrived!
After the ceremony, we headed to Hope Gardens for the formal photo session. Because of the earlier rains, it got dark really quickly so we were left to take these photos in the pitch black. Luckily we improvised and used all the lights we had on hand (including our car headlamps) to ensure we got the shots.
We then headed back to the Spanish Court Hotel for the reception which was beautifully decorated. The toasts were sentimental and touching – a very beautiful and emotional experience. The cake was absolutely gorgeous! and the centre pieces complimented the colours and décor perfectly!
I am truly grateful to have been able to capture these memories. I hope you enjoy these few highlights of the day.
One Love!
