Liguanea Club Jamaica Wedding | Ruth-Ann and Eduardo
Ruth-Ann and Eduardo’s Liguanea Club Jamaica Wedding was special and unique! With quite diverse and different backgrounds and cultures, Ruth-Ann and Eduardo were destined to find love in a strange land! Ruth-Ann is from the beautiful culturally rich island of Jamaica and Eduardo from the beautiful South American country of Ecuador. They however met and fell in love in Australia! Their love story is quite amazing!
When Ruth-Ann contacted me about shooting her wedding I was delighted! I always enjoy documenting weddings that have multiple cultures, so when she told me her fiancé Eduardo was from Ecuador (but they live in Australia), I knew the wedding would be filled with people from all across the globe!
Ruth-Ann and Eduardo had originally planned to have their wedding on a beautiful beach front property in Hellshire St. Catherine but due to some last minute issues they had to change to the Liguanea Club. Thankfully this was the same venue Eduardo and his family were getting ready at and Ruth-Ann was two minutes away at the Courtyard Marriott.
The Wedding Day
Once we arrived at the Courtyard Marriott we were greeted by Ruth-Ann and her lovely bridesmaids and flower girls. The atmosphere was relaxed and their spirits were high – a true representation of who Ruth-Ann is. We quickly photographed the wedding details and started to capture Ruth-Ann getting dressed. We then headed over to the Liguanea Club to capture Eduardo getting dressed.
The ceremony itself was emotionally beautiful! From Eduardo’s gorgeous daughter Isabel carrying a photograph of her grandparents down the aisle to the emotional prayer and well wishes from Ruth-Ann’s father, it was awe-inspiring and tear jerking to say the least. We quickly covered the formals and then moved to the reception which was filled with fun and lots of dancing!
Ruth-Ann and Eduardo, thank you for the honor of documenting your special day. Despite the last minute changes, your wedding day was absolutely beautiful!
