Together they are a force to be reckoned with! Brilliant, jovial, full of life! Together they make a perfect team, a perfect couple, and an amazing husband and wife! They are Remone and Shane Cunningham… celebrating their East Queen Street Baptist Wedding in fine style.

They met during college on campus at the University of the West Indies a few years ago. In Shane’s words “…he was having lunch one day when she approached him asking why he couldn’t buy her lunch too”. The rest he says is history. Remone on the other hand points out that “…he was so engrossed in his lunch that he had no time to see anything or anyone because his was down in the food without coming up for air”. She recounts that when she asked him about getting her some he was shocked and “…the food was all over his face and looking a mess!” Needless to say, he flatly disagrees with her account of the moment! With a smile on his face he simply states “She just couldn’t resist me“! Yeah Shane! Yeah! lol

Their wedding day was absolutely beautiful! I was in familiar territory as I knew them before and had the chance to work with them prior to their big day. They both got ready at the UWI Mona Visitor’s Lodge on campus so it was easy to capture the sights and sounds of both as they prepared for the biggest day of their lives! The bride’s room was quite chaotic with things everywhere and everyone busying themselves trying to get things in order. Remone though, was rather calm and her usual jovial self, making jokes and laughing. In the groom’s room, things were laid back as the boys just relaxed – quite the opposite from the girls.

As they completed their preparations and made their way to the venue, as usual I couldn’t help but wonder just exactly what they were thinking and feeling in those moments. Nevertheless, the time had arrived and they were ready start their lives together – as husband and wife! A truly magical East Queen Street Baptist Wedding!

Remone and Shane, thank you! Thank you for trusting me with the task of capturing and documenting your day in my own creative way. Thank you for allowing me to capture and share your precious memories. I truly enjoyed your day and consider it one of my most memorable as a wedding photographer – although I was surrounded by a sea of KC old boys! LOL

I wish you God’s continued blessings as you embark on your journey – together!

One Love!

The day started at the Mona Visitors Lodge, where Remone and her bridesmaids busied themselves to get Remone ready. The preparation started with a few photos of her dress and some other details…
